Killer Instinct (consumable slot)

Description
Unable to shoot any tears. Instead, uses short-ranged punches to damage enemies. The punches can damage multiple enemies at once, and do so over obstacles.

The range stat increases the range of the punch attacks.

Slam
Continously punching will charge up a bar that, when full and released, will drop down 2 boulders in random spots in the room, which deal 2.5x damage to enemies.

These boulders can be picked up by touching them and carried across rooms. Throwing a boulder deals 2x damage to enemies, and inherits tear effects.

Up to 6 boulders may be active at a time, or 9 in large or L-shaped rooms. Charging up new boulders will replace existing ones.

Slaughter bar
Tarnished Samson has a slaughter bar under the health bar which is filled by dealing damage to enemies. It can be filled up to 5 times representing Tarnished Samson's tier.

Tiers are shown by white markers under the bar, and each grants the following stats:
• +0.1 speed.
• +0.24 fire rate.

The bar drains down slowly while not dealing damage and reverts any bonus stats. Draining happens much faster in rooms with enemies.

The amount of damage needed to reach a new tier scales with the current floor.

Taking damage increases the damage multiplier that the slaughter bar receives. It starts at x1 and increases by x0.2 every time, up to a maximum of x2. This multiplier lasts for the entire floor.

Immortal Rage
Tarnished Samson cannot die if his slaughter bar is at least tier 1. If he receives fatal damage, he loses all tier levels and enters the Immortal Rage phase which grants him:
• +0.2 speed.
• +0.48 fire rate.

While in this phase, Tarnished Samson must deal 5 tiers worth of damage in order to survive with half an HP left before the slaughter bar fully drains, which reverts him to a normal state.

Tarnished Samson cannot take damage while in the Immortal Rage phase.

Using Killer Instinct while holding a boulder makes Tarnished Samson smash himself with the boulder, losing half of his current health (prioritizing red hearts), triggering his Immortal Rage effect.

Manual triggering of the effect also requires dealing enough damage in order to survive afterward but keeps the current health.
